Yael Wapinski, MD, is an Attending Clinican in the Division of Newborn Medicine in the Jack and Lucy Clark Department of Pediatrics at the Mount Sinai Kravis Children's Hospital. Dr. Wapinsky received her Bachelor of Arts degree magna cum laude from Cornell University. She completed her medical training at Sackler School of Medicine/ Tel Aviv University and pursued a residency training in Pediatrics at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Dr. Wapinski was elected to serve as chief resident for Pediatrics from 2006-2007. She practiced as a general pediatrician in private practice from 2007 until 2019 where she dedicated her time to the care and well-being of infants, children and adolescents.
Dr. Wapinski directed her clinical focus to newborn medicine.
Dr. Wapinsky is fluent in Spanish and Hebrew.
