About Me
Yaniv Brailovschi, MD, is a board certified obstetrician-gynecologist in the Raquel and Jaime Gilinski Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Science at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Dr. Brailovschi’s practice focuses on general obstetrics and gynecology, with special interest in gynecologic surgery.
Dr. Brailovschi graduated summa cum laude from the Ben-Gurion University of the Negev School of Medicine in Beer-Sheva, Israel. He came to Mount Sinai from Lenox Hill Hospital following a residency in obstetrics and gynecology, where he served as Administrative Chief Resident. Prior to Lenox Hill, he completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Sheba Medical Center, one of the top ten hospitals worldwide.
Dr. Brailovschi has been published for his research on the role of fetal echocardiogram after detection of extracardiac anomalies in utero, as well as the assessment of fear in adult patients undergoing elective urogynecologic and gynecologic procedures and surgeries during the COVID-19 pandemic.
In addition to English, Dr. Brailovschi speaks fluent Hebrew.
