Yonatan Kaplan, MD
About Me
Dr. Yonatan Kaplan (pronouns: he/him/his) is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. He sees patients both at the the medical school's Student and Trainee Mental Health Program, and at Mount Sinai's Center of Excellence in ADHD and Related Disorders.
He studied biomedical engineering at Tulane University and received a Bachelor of Science in Engineering. He attended Rutgers, New Jersey Medical School where he obtained his MD, and stayed for his residency in general psychiatry. He then completed a fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Icahn Mount Sinai School of Medicine. Dr. Kaplan is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, and is licensed in New York State.
His areas of interest include ADHD, OCD, Tics, transitional age and college mental health, global mental health, and nature therapy.
