About Me
Dr. Zahava Hersh has practiced Internal Medicine with Mount Sinai since 2020. After graduating from the City University of New York, Dr. Hersh earned her doctorate from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. She then moved to St. John's Episcopal Hospital to complete her internship and residency in Family Medicine. With her board certifications by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Medicine and the American Board of Obesity Medicine, Dr. Hersh specializes in primary care and bariatric medicine.
Before joining Mount Sinai Five Towns Medical Group, Dr. Hersh served as an attending physician at St. John's Medical Group. Additionally, she is an active member of the American Osteopathic Association.
Dr. Hersh's love for medicine stems from her childhood aspirations of becoming a physician, and, today, she views her practice style as collaborative and patient-centered. Outside of her time with patients, Dr. Hersh enjoys spending her free time with family and cooking.
