I am a board-certified internist with 25 years of experience. I feel that it is a privilege to treat our patients and their families, and I believe that their satisfaction is critical. A spirit of friendliness pervades our staff and sets us apart. We are in and of the community in a profound and important way, and we provide a level of comfort and an atmosphere of caring and support that is unique to Mount Sinai Queens. Physicians and scientists on the faculty of the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai often interact with pharmaceutical, device, biotechnology companies, and other outside entities to improve patient care, develop new therapies and achieve scientific breakthroughs. In order to promote an ethical and transparent environment for conducting research, providing clinical care and teaching, Mount Sinai requires that salaried faculty inform the School of their outside financial relationships.
