Dr. Zena Hassan has practiced Cardiology since 2016. After graduating summa cum laude from her undergraduate studies at NYU, Dr. Hassan graduated with her medical degree from Washington University School of Medicine. She then completed both her internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center of Harvard Medical School. To finish off her training, Dr. Hassan moved to Washington Hospital Center of Georgetown University for her fellowship in Cardiovascular Diseases. Dr. Hassan worked on three research projects during her residency and fellowship, and is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Diseases, Echocardiography, and Nuclear Cardiology.
In her professional community, Dr. Hassan is an active member of the American College of Cardiology and the American Medical Association.
