
About Me
Zijian Chen, MD, received his medical training at Stony Brook University Medical Center. He then started his internship and residency at St. Vincent’s Medical Center. He completed his residency training at Montefiore Medical Center and then served as a post-doc research fellow at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. While there, he specialized in in-vivo glucose clamp procedures and insulin secretion mechanics. Dr. Chen then completed his fellowship in Endocrinology at Beth Israel Medical Center, graduating in 2014.

Patient Experience Star Ratings and Comments
The Patient Experience Star Rating reflects our patients’ perception of how well their Mount Sinai provider communicated with them during an office visit. The Star Rating is based on patient responses to three questions on a patient experience survey, a standardized questionnaire sent to verified patients and distributed by a third party vendor, Press Ganey. Responses are measured on a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being the best score.
