Obstetrics and Gynecology
About Me
Zoe Rodriguez, MD, is Assistant Professor of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Science at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and Vice Chair of Operations at Mount Sinai’s Downtown campus. As a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist and fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Rodriguez has a special interest in minimally invasive surgery and is an Association of Professors of Gynecology and Obstetrics (APGO) Surgical Scholar of hysteroscopic procedures.
Dr. Rodriguez provides comprehensive gynecologic care including, but not limited to, preventive visits, contraceptive counseling, colposcopy, and office hysteroscopy. She developed a special interest in the care of transgender and gender non-conforming patients more than a decade ago and is a member of the World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH). As a member of the Center for Transgender Medicine and Surgery Steering Committee at Mount Sinai, she helped establish the first programmatic and medically integrated approach to the care of transgender patients at an academic institution. She has presented at several conferences on topics germane to the care of the transgender patient, including gynecologic care, fertility preservation, and the surgical management of gender incongruence.
Dr. Rodriguez has twice been named Faculty Teacher of the Year and is the Residency site director at Mount Sinai Beth Israel for the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She received her medical degree from and completed her residency in OBGYN at New York Medical College at Westchester Medical Center and Metropolitan Hospital Center.

Patient Experience Star Ratings and Comments
The Patient Experience Star Rating reflects our patients’ perception of how well their Mount Sinai provider communicated with them during an office visit. The Star Rating is based on patient responses to three questions on a patient experience survey, a standardized questionnaire sent to verified patients and distributed by a third party vendor, Press Ganey. Responses are measured on a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being the best score.
