About Me
Zoé Christenson Wick is a postdoctoral fellow in Tristan Shuman's lab in the Neuroscience department at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. She earned her PhD in 2019 in the lab of Esther Krook-Magnuson at the University of Minnesota and her BA in Psychology in 2014 from St. Olaf College. Her research investigates how distinct subtypes of inhibitory neuron in the rodent hippocampus alter their spike timing in epilepsy and is determining what role those spike timing changes play in seizure susceptibility and the cognitive deficits associated with epilepsy.
